Chicago National Organization for Women (CNOW) will be part of the Chicago 45th Annual Pride Parade on Sunday, June 29 at 12 noon and we would love you to join us! Feel free to invite your friends!
We will have a decorated Vehicle and passing our goodies as we walk along the parade starting at Montrose Avenue and Broadway in Uptown and ends near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park.
The National Organization for Women is the largest organization of feminist activists in the United States. We are dedicated to furthering feminist issues for the women of Chicago. We pride ourselves on being part of ‘the city that works,’ a city with a long history of activism. Our intention is to make a difference in the lives of the women in our city by dedicating ourselves to several key projects each year, and through community outreach and political activities.
Come support PRIDE with us as we celebrate Chicago’s vibrant LGBT community. On Sunday the roar of the crowd heralds the start of the Pride Parade, a dazzling cavalcade of diversity. The streets are lined as 750,000 people cheer the contingents on and enjoy the show, culture and experience!
