Tomorrow (March 2nd, 2016), the Supreme Court will hear the biggest abortion case since Roe v. Wade. Members of FURIE (Feminist Uprising to Resist Inequality and Exploitation) and other local activists will be demonstrating and marching to show our support for abortion & reproductive health care access for all.

From the event page on Facebook: “The case, Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt, will decide the constitutionality of Texas’s TRAP legislation that places medically unneccesary burdens on abortion providers in order to shut clinics down. Similar laws have already been imposed in 24 other states, and currently 6 states only have one abortion provider left. Access to the rights Roe v Wade granted are hanging by a thin thread.”

If you’re interested in showing your support, come down to Federal Plaza (50 W. Adams) tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m.
