CNOW board member commenting on the passage of deceptive "partial birth" abortion ban:

Bad decision

Chicago -- How ironic that your photo on the story
about Bush signing the so-called "partial birth"
abortion ban depicted six smiling men standing around
the president. None of them will ever be forced to
make the difficult decision that they are now denying
to women.

There are some circumstances when a doctor determines
that this type of procedure is the safest for the
woman, to preserve her health and fertility. Shame on
these men for taking this choice away from women and
their doctors.
