Chicago NOW PAC is active in the politics of Chicago. The PAC Board keeps abreast of pending legislation effecting women, and works hard to make women's voices heard in the Chicago City Council.

Chicago NOW PAC works on campaigns to support feminist candidates. Candidates are qualified by a rigorous and thorough questionnaire, in which they are asked about their position on choice, childcare, healthcare---all issues that effect women.

This Board knows the importance of politics in the everyday lives of the women of Chicago, and aims to be a link to what is going on locally, statewide, and nationally (including the Violence Against Women Act).
