6th Annual Women Who Dared Reception and Fundraiser
The sixth annual Women Who Dared reception and silent auction was held September 18, 2025. This year's honorees were: Terri Hemmert, radio personality on WXRT for Excellence in Media and Beth Richie, PhD Head of the African American Studies Department at University of Illinois at Chicago. She will accept the Bella Abzug Woman of Honor Award.

CAPS March & Rally responding to the attacks on several women in Wicker Park this summer. Mayor Daley and Alderman Flores will be leading a CAPS march and rally to help raise community awareness of this issue, and as a unified city response to violence against women.
