The Lesbian Rights Team is devoted to fighting discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. LRT is an advocate for equality among LGBTQ women and men in Chicago. Outstanding equality issues in the LGBTQ community includes marriage, adoption and overall civil rights.
In the past, the Lesbian Rights Team has participated in Halstead Market Days, Gay Pride Parade, and Dyke March. The team has also held events for National Coming Out Day and has participated in the Gay Games.
