Thinking about Moving Feminism Forward? Think about Volunteering with Chicago NOW!
Do you want to do something to advance feminist ideals? Think about getting involved with Chicago NOW! Our volunteers plan and work CNOW events, help at others’ events, and get out in the community and volunteer with local women’s organizations. There are mailing parties and tasks that need your specific skills. There’s at least one event per month (maybe more) but we need volunteers, like you, to get involved! Volunteering with Chicago NOW is a great opportunity for people who need to be active, but can’t work regularly with an issue team (and a chance for issue team members to do even more). It’s a chance to meet Chicago NOW members and leaders, a chance to connect with other women’s organizations, and a chance to make a grass roots contribution to a better life for women and girls. If you’re interested in volunteering with Chicago NOW, contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Stephanie Bell, at CNOWvolunteers@gmail.com or leave a message on the general line at (312) 578-9351. If you have a specific skill or unusual talent, let her know. She can provide you with more information and add you to the active volunteer list for upcoming volunteer opportunities. Looking forward to working with you in the near future!

Chicago NOW (CNOW) is dedicated to raising awareness of issues that affect women and girls in the Chicagoland area. We pride ourselves on being part of “the city that works”-- a city with a long history of activism.
