Chicago NOW (CNOW) is dedicated to raising awareness of issues that affect women and girls in the Chicagoland area. Our intention is to make a difference in the lives of the women in our city by dedicating ourselves to several key projects each year including direct actions, community outreach and grassroots political activities. Our main focus areas are employment equity, violence against women, women’s healthcare, lesbian rights and reproductive justice, however we will advocate on any issue that affects women. We pride ourselves on being part of “the city that works”-- a city with a long history of activism.
